Review:
Somebody is obsessed with Mia Hawkins.
Mia’s felt their gaze on the back of her neck. She’s heard their footsteps, walking home in the dark. She’s glimpsed a shadowy figure and flash of a camera. A girl is copying Mia, from her long brown hair to the minute details of her outfits.
But when her double turns up dead, Mia’s problems are only just beginning. Suddenly she has no idea who to trust – or if she’ll be the next to die…
Well this book was right up my street – I absolutely loved it. A gripping, dark, heart-racing YA thriller about stalking, obsession and toxic love. Full of twists and turns throughout Love you to Death had me gripped from the very start. I was pleasantly pleased to find that I was wrong throughout this book. It is clever writing from start to finish and a wonderful mystery story that young people are going to love.
This book is perfect for fans of Good Girls Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson, One of Us is Lying by Karen McManus and any books by Sue Wallman. It will make a wonderful addition to any secondary school library. I really hope there are many more YA thrillers to come from Gina as I for one will definitely be reading them!
A huge thank you to publishers Scholastic for sending me a copy of, Love you to Death, to read and review on my blog.
You can buy/pre-order this fabulous book from all booksellers, online and of course using any independent local bookshop.
