The Great Fox Heist by Justyn Edwards

Review:

Flick Lions is a magician in need of answers.

Her father is missing. But world-famous illusionist the Great Fox is only interested in winning a new competition in Switzerland. For the final spectacular trick Flick and her friend Charlie must steal a priceless diamond necklace from one of the most secure bank vaults in the world.

But can Flick really trust the Great Fox?

I adored The Great Fox Illusion which is the first book in this fabulous series and this instalment did not disappoint at all. It is full of magic, mystery and adventure about family and friendship and you will not want to put it down.

This action-packed story follows the fabulous young magician Flick Lions, as she enters a new magic competition. Flick is a wonderful role model which some readers are going to relate to. She doesn’t let her disability interfere with the task she has been set which enables this book to not just be supportive but educational as well. The twists and turns throughout are just magnificent as Justyn is such a clever writer. The ending is just wow….. the series is just getting better and better! I cannot wait for the next instalment – there better be one anyway!

The Great Fox Heist will make a wonderful addition to any upper primary and secondary school library/classroom and will be a very popular read amongst young people.

A huge thank you to publishers Walker Books for sending me a copy of, The Great Fox Heist, to read and review on my blog.

You can buy/pre-order this fabulous book from all booksellers, online and of course using any independent local bookshop.
